Minerals Company Moves into San Antonio

San Antonio TX - Free Trade Alliance is pleased to announce that a new company has moved into the San Antonio area. Fervim Ingenieria S.A de C.V. is the newest participant in the Free Trade Alliance International Business Development Center.  Originally from Nuevo Leon, Mexico, Fervim Ingenieria is a family owned company that has been in business for more than twenty years. It will import coal and limestone to San Antonio from Nueva Rosita, Coahuila, Mexico.  Currently, the company employs 300 workers in Mexico. However, with its recent move to San Antonio, the company is seeking to expand its business and grow in one of the largest consumer markets in the United States for coal - Texas.  Initially with this move, Fervin Ingeniera will create six new jobs in San Antonio. Its growth plans do not end in San Antonio, after the company has established itself here; plans are to expand into other areas of Texas.

Media inquiries should go to Joseph Marks, Events & Marketing Director for the Alliance at 210.229.9036 or at jmarks@freetradealliance.org.
