Free Trade Alliance Announces Strategic Alliance with ANIERM
San Antonio, Texas - Free Trade Alliance of San Antonio has entered into an agreement with the Asociacion Nacional de Importadores y Exportadores de la República Mexicana - National Association of Importers and Exporters of the Republic of Mexico (ANIERM) in efforts to foster and promote bilateral business opportunities for San Antonio and Texas and ANIERM's 1,200 members throughout Mexico. As a result of the agreement, ANIERM will be provided use of an office at the Alliance’s International Business Development Center (IBDC) which is based at Port San Antonio. The IBDC program is an international business incubator and accelerator which assists small to medium sized companies in expanding their global business. The Alliance will also conduct “Invest in America” seminars throughout Mexico as well as match-making missions in San Antonio in coordination with ANIERM.
“The agreement with ANIERM provides unprecedented access to Mexican businesses. ANIERM has over 1,200 business members, all of whom are prospective vendors and customers to our local businesses” stated Kyle Burns, President & CEO, Free Trade Alliance. “Through this agreement the Alliance and ANIERM will work together so that our region continues to grow together economically during these difficult global economic conditions. Now more than ever, we need friendship rather than fences” continued Burns.
Signing the agreement on behalf of ANIERM was Lic. José Othón Ramirez Gutierrez, President ANIERM. The agreement was witnessed by Jorge Canavati, Vice President Asociacion de Empresarios Mexicanos. The Alliance also thanks Lic. Luis Roberto Abreu Menendez, Vice President ANIERM and Lic. Luis Enrique Zavala Gallegos, Director of Organization and Market ANIERM for their efforts in developing the strategic partnership between Free Trade Alliance and ANIERM.
